Esra Roise is an acclaimed illustrator based in Oslo. Born and raised in rural parts of Norway, she has been drawing since she was little. She has formal training from The Einar Granum School of Art, and a BA in Visual Communication from The Academy of The Arts in Oslo, Norway.
Esra has always loved the preciseness of the pencil and the unpredictability and possibilities of watercolor and ink. She enjoys the juxtaposition of the analogue and digital combined, and most of her delicate and playful works are a combination of the two.
Selected clients include: VOGUE, Stella McCartney, Gucci, Burberry, Bvlgari, Viktor&Rolf, Zalando, Marie Claire, Nylon magazine,and Helly/Hansen among others.
