'Illustrating Fashion' Series

Fida has created the 'Illustrating Fashion' series, where illustrators, artists and image makers have the opportunity to showcase their artwork. 

Each month we will be inviting artists to illustrate a different brand, capturing the essence and the philosophy of the designer. 

October 2024: Louis Vuitton

November 2024: Gucci

December 2024: Cartier 

January 2025: Chanel

February 2025: Tiffany & Co.

March 2025: Dior

April 2025: Hermes

May 2025:  Miu Miu

June 2025: Tom Ford

What you will need to submit: 

  • A drawing or series of illustrations about past or present collections, favourite moments throughout the brand's history, etc.
  • You can also share a recording of the work being created with a short reel or recording of the work in progress, whether using pen/paint and paper or an iPad. 

What will I get in return:

  • Every artist that submits work can attend the live review via Zoom, and receive feedback.
  • The best 5 artworks will be promoted on the Fida Worldwide website and social media, plus email campaign, sharing to our network of over 50k.

A selection of artists will also:

  • Be offered the opportunity to be featured in the 'Illustrating Fashion' E-magazine
  • Be offered the opportunity to be featured in the annual fashion illustration book - The Fible
  • Be offered the opportunity to draw live at LFW x Fashion Scout

Who can enter the awards?

The Fida Awards are online global awards, so you can apply from anywhere in the world. 

All levels of creatives can apply, from students and amateurs to professionals and educators. This includes artists, illustrators, visual artists, live event artists, animators, 3D designers, content creators, calligraphers, engravers, customisers, print makers, graphic designers and more.

PRIZE FUND

There are 11 award categories this year, seeking excellence in each field.

Winners will receive over £33,000 worth of prizes

Each winner will receive prizes worth over £3,000:

Award winners: 

  • Receive a Portfolio Membership for 5 years or a Project Membership for 2 years.
  • Get promoted in The Fible (the fashion, art, digital and illustration book)
  • Have work showcased in an online exhibition
  • Have work promoted throughout Fidaworldwide’s social media accounts
  • Receive a special winner’s feature about you and your work on our website
