Massimo Nicosia

Massimo Nicosia is an Italian designer.
Massimo’s first love was architecture. He graduated at the Università Degli Studi di Firenze.

His career in fashion began under Alessandro Dell’Acqua in Milan. He then moved to London to join Pringle Of Scotland in 2008 leading the Menswear Department under the Creative Direction of Clare Waight Keller.

After two years as Head of Menswear at Nicole Farhi, Massimo returned to Pringle of Scotland to head up the Menswear Design Studio.

In 2014 Massimo was appointed Design Director for Pringle of Scotland, in charge of the “200 Years Anniversary” special project overviewing both womenswear and menswear.

In July, 2017 he has been appointed Head of Design at Ermenegildo Zegna, joining the team of the Artistic Director Alessandro Sartori.
Using his architectural and design background, Massimo does enjoy exploring cutting edge technology and techniques, balancing and fusing in his work both tradition and innovation.
