Fida celebrates the 2024 Paris Olympics with the Poster Prize
The Brands of the Olympics Poster Prize was an opportunity for artists to illustrate a poster for the brands that partnered with the Paris Olympics 2024.
Well done to everyone that submitted work into the Poster Prize, we had a wonderful selection of work.
We are delighted to announce that the winner of the Poster Prize is Marta Ruiz, who submitted a contemporary, modernist image with simple stripped-back graphics, reflecting a time of reduction and minimalism in design. The colours used in the poster echo those of the Olympic rings, while the figure in the artwork solidifies the composition. Huge congratulations to Marta, who will have her poster exhibited in the ‘5 colours of the Olympics’ exhibition in Paris in September 2024, as well as being featured in an online exhibition and in The Fible 5.

I am a fashion designer, illustrator and textile print designer and I have been working in the fashion industry for over 20 years. I have been head of design for brands of the Inditex group, Mango and in recent years, I work for Zara.
I have a degree in fashion design, graphic design and audiovisual arts styling. My interest in fashion comes from a very young age, I spent hours drawing figures and reading fashion magazines. For me, art and fashion illustration is my way of expressing my ideas and emotions.
I work mainly digitally, although sometimes I like to mix classical drawing techniques, being especially interested in experimenting with colour, fabrics and techniques. I often feel that I draw personalities, delving into narrative, expressions and moods, when you walk past my work I don't want you to remain indifferent.
I am a very active artist, always getting involved in new projects, curious with an eclectic style. I never stop learning.
