Celebrate the 2024 Paris Olympics with the Poster Prize: Brands of the Olympics.

The Olympics are being held in Paris this summer, and are being partnered by a host of prestigious and heritage French brands: Louis Vuitton, Montblanc, Berluti, Lululemon, Omega, Lacoste, Le Coq Sportif, Camille Fournet and Macon & Lesquoy.

Join in with the Poster Prize for your chance to win the following:

  • Your poster printed and exhibited live in Paris and included in the Digital Catalogue
  • Your poster featured in The Fible 5 (The Fashion Illustration Book)
  • Your poster showcased in a virtual exhibition.

This is your opportunity to illustrate the brands that are partnering with the Paris Olympics 2024 and create a poster for the Olympics. Deadline to submit work:  17th August 2024 

Brief: 

Select a brand from the list below and illustrate a poster, celebrating the 2024 Paris Olympics. Work does not have to be sport themed, but can be.

To enter you only need to send a digital image of your poster, so take a good quality picture or scan your work and follow the instructions you receive after registering, telling you how to format and label your work. 

By entering the poster prize, you can win a chance to have your work printed and exhibited in Paris, at our Live Exhibition, 5 Colours of Paris, hosted by Istituto Marangoni Paris, in September 2024 (3.9.2024 - 13.9.2024). The winning piece will also be printed in the Fible 5 and showcased in our '5 Colours of Paris' virtual exhibition.

After registration payment has been accepted, you will download the full brief and information about where to email artworks. 

Deadline to submit work:  17th August 2024 

Winner notified by: 19th August 2024

You will not need to do anything once you have submitted your work. The winner will be notified and their work will be printed and exhibited in Paris.

Where is the exhibition being held?

Istituto Marangoni Paris is hosting the exhibition.

Can I see the exhibition?

All exhibiting artists are welcome to attend the show times between 10am - 6pm on weekdays, for the duration of the exhibition, and on the Istituto Marangoni Open day which is being held on Saturday 7th September (times to be confirmed nearer the time). Artists do not need to attend the show as work will be hung and taken down for you.

What if I cannot attend the exhibition, can I still enter the prize?

Yes, anyone can enter. Artwork must be submitted by email so you can enter from anywhere in the world.

All artwork will be photographed in situ, and artists will receive the photos for their records to share on social media/websites.  

Can I send my own originals or prints?

No, the winning artwork will be printed, delivered, hung and curated for you, so you just need to submit images, via email and we will take care of the rest. 

Can I sell my work? 

Your contact details will be included with your work, so any interested party can contact you directly, meaning any sales are 100% yours. Fida will take 0% commission. If you want to sell the promotional print at the exhibition, the buyer can collect it from Marangoni Paris, on Friday 13th September. It must be collected on that date, otherwise you will have to arrange to print and/or send the work directly from your home/work address.

Will my work be returned to me after the event?

The exhibited work will be a promotional print. You will be able to collect your artwork on Friday 13th September, between 10am - 4pm if you want to. You can arrange for someone to collect and pack your print(s) on that day, but you must notify us of this in advance, or work will not be released. Any work not collected by 4pm on Friday 13th September 2024 will be disposed of.
