Victoria Semykina is a fine artist and illustrator who lives and works in Bologna.
After graduating in painting with a Gold Medal from the Moscow State Art Academy
she decided to continue her studies in Italy. She fell in love with sunny and lively
Bologna where she finished her studies in printmaking and then decided to stay.
A playful approach to illustration gives Victoria’s work a fresh and ironical touch.
Her works often move from one technique to another, mixing and superimposing collages
on her illustrations, and are inspired by everything she captures while riding her red bike.
