IFIW 2025 - TOP 100 Contemporary Fashion Portraits Prize

IFIW 2025 is coming...sign up now to be involved in a worldwide celebration of fashion illustration and arts!

The TOP 100 contemporary fashion portraits will be showcased during IFIW 2025

To recognise fashion illustration around the globe, FIDA is supporting IFIW - International Fashion Illustration Week - creating an environment to further promote talent. 

Artists are invited to submit their fashion portraits, for the chance to have their work showcased in the TOP 100. 

The TOP 100 Contemporary Fashion Portraits will be promoted online and all selected artists will have the opportunity to exhibit their work in the TOP 100 IFIW Immersive Online Exhibition.

Additionally, the TOP 10 artworks will be announced and each artist will have their selected artwork exhibited and featured in the Fible - the fashion illustration book.

This is a worldwide, online competition where work is submitted by email, so everyone is welcome to enter. Creatives of all levels are welcome to enter.

The brief:

Create a portrait inspired by fashion culture today that encapsulates the essence of contemporary fashion, using any style, medium (analogue or digital), or technique - including, but not limited to, drawing, painting, digital art, collage, or 3D art. Work can be published, unpublished, commissioned or a personal project. Please ensure you only submit work that you own the copyright to and have permission to share.

DEADLINE: 31st January 2025 11:59pm EST USA.

If selected as one of the TOP 100 you will:

• Be promoted on www.fidaworldwide.com as part of the Official IFIW TOP 100 celebration including other Fida websites and social media.
• Exclusive invitation to sign up for the Official TOP 100 Immersive Online Exhibition, which also includes a feature in the TOP 100 digital catalogue and a copy of the TOP 100 digital catalogue

 If selected as one of the TOP 10 you will:

• Be promoted on www.fidaworldwide.com as part of the Official IFIW TOP 100 celebration including other Fida websites and social media.
• Be featured in the IFIW TOP 100 digital catalogue
• Receive a digital copy of the IFIW TOP 100 digital catalogue
  
• Have your work featured in The Fible - the fashion illustration book. www.thefible.com.
• Exhibit your work in the Official TOP 100 Immersive Online Exhibition, which also includes a feature in the TOP 100 digital catalogue and a copy of the TOP 100 digital catalogue
• Have a 'Victorious Voices' feature interview about you and your work.

How to apply for the IFIW TOP 100 Contemporary Fashion Portrait Prize:

Reasons to participate:

• Be an integral part of International Fashion Illustration Week 2025.
• 100 artists will be given the opportunity to exhibit in the Official IFIW TOP 100 Immersive Online Exhibition, which will be held during IFIW and will last for 1 month. Exhibiting artists will have their work entered into the TOP 100 digital catalogue with contact details, and will receive a copy of the digital catalogue.
• Have your work published in the Fible - the must-have fashion illustration book. The Fible is shared with creative directors, commissioners and other influential members of the fashion and art communities around the world.
• Global promotion to new audiences, with an exhibition, showcase on the website, and the TOP 10 artists will have a special feature.
• Social media and online promotion to over 35K potential commissioners.
• Opportunity to get involved in the Fida fashion illustration community.
• Your details will be shared along with your work, so all sales will be 100% yours - Fida takes 0% commission.
