Which artists, past or present, have had the greatest influence on your work, and why?
It’s hard to name just one or even a few, but vintage fashion artists from the past century truly captured my heart. I often find their influence sneaking into my work, especially in the silhouettes I create - but always with a twist that's entirely mine.
Is there a particular book or author that has shaped your creative process or sparked new ideas?
As a visual artist, I’m more inspired by the world I can see and feel. Words are beautiful, but for me, it's the colors, textures are moments of joy that spark my ideas.
How does music influence your art? Are there any songs or genres you find particularly inspiring while creating?
Music is essential to my process and my playlist is as eclectic as my mood. Classical music draws me into a flow state where I can lose myself in every detail. Urban beats are for breaking the rules and embracing the unexpected. The brushstrokes become bold, fearless and spontaneous.
Are there any films, TV shows, or documentaries that have deeply resonated with you or your artistic vision?
I’m captivated by documentaries about creative minds (artists, musicians, designers etc.). There's something magical in seeing the messy, raw side of them. Through these stories, I’ve learned that struggles we face as
artist are inevitable in the journey. The creative mind is wild, fascinating and untamed :)
Do you look to other art forms - like photography, fashion, or architecture - for inspiration? If so, how do they impact your work?
Fashion, for sure - but I am too curious to stop there. I’m like a sponge, absorbing details from everything around me, whether it's architecture, photography or nature. Each of these impressions finds a place in my work, blending into something uniquely mine.
Have any specific brands or design movements inspired the aesthetics or concepts behind your art?
My appreciation for retro aesthetics and classic luxury brands inspires me to mix timeless elegance with a fresh, modern twist. But essential in my work is the celebration of individuality, freedom, boldness and joy.
Is there a recurring theme or message in your work that’s driven by something you’ve read, watched, or experienced in popular culture?
A recurring theme in my work is individuality. I am fascinated by the unique strengths and quirks each person carries, and I try to reflect that resilience and authenticity in my art. I also love to capture little joyful moments of the life.
How do trends in contemporary art or culture influence your style or the direction of your projects?
While I don't necessarily chase trends, I love observing them and see how I can add my own twist to the world. My aim is to create something that stands on its own - timeless, a bit rebellious and alway uniquely mine :)
Are there any personal experiences or memories that consistently inspire the work you create today?
I’d say that my own life has always been one of my most powerful sources of inspiration. From the beginning, I envisioned a path where my art and my identity as a woman and artist are woven together, each enriching the other. There's a certain vision I hold of who I am and who I want to become, and that vision fuels everything I create. My work is a blend of experiences, dreams and a desire for a passionate life and the freedom to live it fully.
If you could collaborate with any artist, musician, or creative brand, who would it be and why?
If I could collaborate with any artist, musician, or creative brand, it would be fashion designers. My passion for drawing live at events brings me immense joy so I would love to do it more regularly. Especially at small gatherings. In these settings, I could capture the designers’ ideas in real-time and add something unique to the fashion event and create a little visual documentary.
